What will George Clooney do without his potbellied pal? Max, a 300-lb. pig who lived in his Hollywood Hills home, has died. He lived with Clooney for 18 years and had arthritis and partial blindness. George, who's admitted to sharing a bed with Max, tells USA Today, "He just died, like an hour ago... He was as old a pig as the vets had ever seen. I was really surprised, because he's been a big part of my life.""It has been a bad year for my pets," he says. "I had a bulldog that died this year, too. It's strange how animals become a bit part of your family . They really become a big issue with you."
